People always talk about Shakespeare & Co. when they talk about English bookstores in Paris, but nobody ever mentions Le Librairie Galignani, which I, personally, looove. Sure, I wouldn’t necessarily buy an actual book there (haha, the prices for English books in Paris are ridiculous!), but for browsing it’s so lovely. Especially the history section. So yeah, if anyone has too much time on their hands in Paris - go! It’s on the Rue de Rivoli, right across from the Tuileries & right next to La Maison Angelina.
